Nine miles to the top of a forest service road lies Rising Brothers Ranch, overlooking the eclectic railroad cowboy town of Livingston, Montana.  Each guest will experience the "wilds of Montana" at RBR, a 66-acre lodge and cabin destination resting at 6,400 ft, just below Livingston Peak.  The Ranch is north of the Yellowstone Park entrance in Paradise Valley and the majestic Yellowstone River.  The property itself neighbors 1,000,000+ acres of national forest and has breathtaking 360-degree views of Paradise Valley, the Absaroka and Crazy mountain ranges.  Wildlife make their home on top of Livingston Peak … black/grizzly bear, mountain lion, moose, elk and deer.

Witness God's country 360 degrees. Breathe at 10,000 feet. Walk in grizzly country. Vizualize the Northern Lights and shooting stars. Dip your toes into a rushing stream. Wake up to wild horses outside your window. Dream at Poet's Point. Battle on the billiard table with the locals. Float down the majestic Yellowstone in an angler’s flyfishing boat. Relax fireside with local legends. Select river rocks for your body rub. Gallop horseback through an open meadow. Fill your face with dirt firing down on an ATV. Spot a moose, deer, or fox legally trespassing. Sleep with the windows open. Taste huckleberries on a prime cut of local beef. Smell gunpowder as you fire a .22 or pull the pin of a .44. Hear a pin drop as you sip strong coffee on your deck.

The experience is a catalyst to transform relationships.  The simplicity and quiet remoteness in the wilderness is the idyllic setting for people to reveal and explore.  Relationships make the world go forward and intimate, healthy relationships ignite progress.

RBR is in the heart of Big Sky Country just outside Livingston.  RBR is just over one hour from the airport in Bozeman, Montana.  The second half of the journey is up a windy old forest service to the end of civilization.

Erik moved to Montana in 1979 to seed his roots into the man he has become today.  Over the last 30 years Erik has navigated the land and has nurtured relationships with a wide array of skilled artisans who partner with Erik to create pioneering experiences.   At his core, Erik has been inspired by the Old West and the era of the open range.  Specifically, the real rugged and simple life and code of the working cowboy.  The code is a belief in honor, respect, optimism, perseverance, and fellowship.
